SWAN Isotopen AG is a fully certified modern radiopharmaceutical company on the Campus of Inselspital, the university Hospital Bern. In close collaboration with Nuclear Medicine Inselspital and University of Bern, the company participates also in the development of targeted radiodiagnostics and therapeutics. SWAN Isotopen AG holds marketing authorizations for the most used PET Radiopharmaceuticals used in Oncology and Neurology.
Your role is to assure the packaging of radiopharmaceuticals in a controlled area. A professional and committed team is awaiting you in a working environment, which combines commercial production and development of new products. The packaging operator works in close collaboration with the production team in preparing the manufactured products in radiation-safe containers ready for shipment according to national and international transport regulations.
Packaging of short-lived radiopharmaceuticals
Work according to established standard operating procedures (SOPs) in controlled area
Preparation and set-up of packaging equipment and materials
Comply with all applicable company policies for quality system, environmental and health safety, documentation and personal protective requirements
Support production department in routine tasks
Education/Experience: technical background is an asset
Willing to work with radioactive materials for clinical purposes under highest safety standards
Ability to work effectively in a team as well as independently
Previous experience with cleanroom is an asset
Reliable team player, able to work under time pressure
Language: English (understanding/reading), German is an asset
- Working hours 4am – 12am (Monday – Friday, no Weekends)
