Lab Technician in Functional Urology

The Department of Urology at the University Hospital of Bern is looking for you!

What you can expect

• Perform biological and molecular biology experiments (Cell culture, RNA/DNA/protein analyses, PCR, Western blot, sequencing, flow cytometry)
• Conduct animal experiments (Experimentation, care, handling, documentation)
• Manage laboratory orders, inventory, financial routines
• Support experiment planning and collaborate closely with scientists
• Ensure laboratory organisation, quality and safety standards

Your Profile

• Completed training as a laboratory technician in biology or equivalent qualification
• Solid knowledge of biological and molecular biology techniques
• Experience in animal work (LTK,FELASA or equivalent)
• Strong organisational skills, experience in ordering and finances
• Excellent teamwork and communication in an interdisciplinary environment
• Good German and English (spoken and written)
